And with her leaving, we will see more of Medusa and perhaps a tidbit of Yun Yun unless you havent been watching the trailers, there is going to be Yun Yun's wedding coming soon, either near the end of the season as a cliffhanger or perhaps next season

By the way, I have a few people asking about why the synopsis page stated the status is completed and is up to episode 30, let me repeat this, on Tencent streaming it states 52 episodes this season and Gogoanime's status when a season is complete or ongoing is not really reliable at times. And if you want to call me an idiot for getting it wrong, well go ahead, cause I am not wrong lol

You know to me that's why this episode is such a treat, cause in most donghua's you always see MC female companion, or the female companions that tag along with MC, you always see them as the damsel in distress. Like even when MC boosts their power level, or they grow a little stronger along the way their characteristics are always the same. You see them as the support role, but no so competent cause they always either get'n pushed back, or on the verge of defeat, and MC gotta step in be that hero and come save them from the arrogant jerks who want to claim them for their own, or kill them. That's why I like Xun'er, cause she can play that support role, while also being competent she don't need Xiao Yan to come save her, unless that's how the story plot is driven, however she has the power to stand her ground is what i'm saying. Which makes her my top 5 best female waifu's in donghua's XD.

It is quite sexy to see some fmc being able to defend themselves from powerful threats, with or without the mc. Especially when she's able to actually, for instance, if the mc is in trouble passed out or something like that unable to fight/defend himself, she's skilled and/or powerful enough to defend him until they're safe. I always loved powerful fmc who were still feminine and could get down if she needed to but was mostly comfortable being supportive and the guy taking lead. Women should take her as an example of a wifey type lol.

Yea Medusa as well, but what makes Xun'er more better is cause not only is she powerful, but also has that nourishing side as well. Medusa from the start just treat him like a errand boy, until she changes her perspective view of him I mean she has like you can see it, just not quite there yet.

As for Martial Universe I heard that the studio, DC Impressions is developing it at the moment, it will have 12 episodes and they were approved

A lot of C-drama adaptions are horrible, there are some exceptions, some but not a lot

A lot of people who never read the novel or watched the donghua would believe they are the very good lol, I feel bad for them, but where opinions and likes/dislikes are concerned there are no right or wrong, can argue all day with them and not get anywhere, I just let them be lol

I was thinking it might be for a couple of reasons why Xun'er didnt fight Zi Yan. The first reason is because even though Zi Yan is old, she is portrayed to look and behave like a child. This would probably set off those who are against hitting children. The second reason is that Zi Yan is protecting Xiao Yan and hurting her during the fight might hinder her ability to protect him in the future. Lastly, the reason you wrote with Zi Yan running to Xiao Yan and complaining before she demands more 'treats'. :P

Even though we saw Xun'er fight against Lin Xiuya, I still think she was holding back. With her speed, she could have easily defeated him faster but probably didnt want to embarrass him as he was also on good terms with Xiao Yan.

Lol yes, Xun’er wasn’t interested in being in the top 10 strongest, but in the novel she likes Zi Yan, and she is the only one Zi Yan won’t bully as she always feel a tinge of fear when Xun’er is around, but the novel did say more than anything she didn’t want Zi Yan to sob her defeat in front of Xiao Yan lol
